Bill would strengthens gays' rights

Nothing in Ohio law stops companies from firing people because they are gay, just as there is nothing to stop landlords from refusing to rent to homosexuals.

Columbus- Gays and lesbians would get equal protection under anti-discrimination laws in the Buckeye State under legislation introduced Tuesday by state lawmakers, including Cleveland Democratic Sen. Dale Miller.
