New plan unveiled for casino in Ohio

        Push for fall ballot

With 220,000 square feet of floor space for gambling, the casino proposed for southwestern Ohio would be larger than such well-known Las Vegas venues as Paris Las Vegas, the Luxor and the Venetian.

The Clinton County casino won't be mistaken for any of its Las Vegas cousins, however, its chief backers said yesterday. Ohio's only gambling resort would be built with "Midwestern sensibilities," meaning no gigantic neon signs or flashy architectural flourishes, they said.
