Overpasswreck LOVELAND, OHIO – The driver of this rental truck was transported to the hospital with face injuries on Wednesday after failing to clear the railroad overpass on Karl Brown Way. To free the truck, Fire/EMS personal on the scene let some air out of the rear tires and drove it backwards. When asked if the driver was wearing a seat belt, Fire Department Chief Otto Huber (on right in top photo) said, “I don't know, but she hit the windshield.”

The roadway was cleared within half-an-hour of the accident.

What's happening at the Market?

Clough Clough Pike Market began as an idea in April 2005 to create a unique specialty store in the Anderson Township area. The dream of Jean Paul, with the support of Janice Ruxton, was to open a retail business establishment composed of a produce section, an ethnic grocery section, a meat/seafood section, a bakery section, built around a delicatessen.

The nucleus of the business would be the delicatessen area. It would consist of choice sliced meats, superior worldwide cheeses, fully prepared hot/cold meals, distinctive salads, and an enhanced catering capability. This is an ambitious undertaking and will require assistance from all of our current and future employees to provide unparalleled service to the Clough Pike Market customer.

Annabelle's Tea Parlor in Loveland

I think one of my greatest memories from Cincinnati was our trip to Miss Annabelle's Tea Parlor in Loveland, Ohio. Wendy booked a great lunch there for just us girls. The parlor's walls are covered with hats and boas for you to choose from and the menu was very elegant. We had finger sandwiches, fruit, pastries and a wonderful variety of cold and hot teas. The girls felt like princesses! Link: Have Kids, Will Travel... Affordably!: Cincinnati, Ohio.
