MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OHIO - The Ohio Department of Transportation estimates that they will complete the renovation of Ohio 28 in Miami Township on or about August 31, 2007. This is about 2 months ahead of the projected completed date. Weather may delay the early completion, but the work is ahead of schedule.
The project will widen SR28 from the east end of the former Bypass 28 to a location just east of Frisch's on SR 28. The project will build two lanes in both direction (east-west) and some turn lanes east of Buckwheat Road, and up-grade all of the signalization in the project zone. The project was built in 3 phases.
