Milford Board Of Education To Discuss Bond Issue Plans
At the June Board of Education meeting
Superintendent John Frye presented information about a possible bond issue for November. People in the community might have seen information in the newspaper about this. At that time, the plan called for a $50 million project for expansions, replacements and renovations for the high school, and Seipelt and Smith Elementaries. Through the investigation of this proposal with the Clermont County Auditor’s office, we still have a plan for a bond issue, but one with a more narrow scope and less cost.
Here are the details of the proposed bond issue as it stands today:
- 2.05 mils
- Will generate $30 million for additions and renovations at Milford High School only
- No increase to the tax rate
