"We are doing some good and having a party and hope you will join us."
MILFORD, OHIO - The Milford American Legion Auxiliary is having a party on Saturday, July 24 from noon to midnight. All of the proceeds will purchase book bags and school supplies for foster children in Clermont County. These kids are often-times removed from their homes with only the clothing they are wearing. What they hope to accomplish with their fund raiser is to make it possible for each school age child to receive a book bag with the necessary supplies before they have to attend a new school. Last year they provided almost $2,000 in supplies and hope to do so again this year.
In addition to raising money, it is going to be a great party. They will have a DJ during the day and the band PowerTrain at night. There will be horse shoes and corn hole, raffle prizes, and split the pot.
