Visit Grailville in Loveland, Ohio for a beautiful evening of music and locally sourced food, honoring the hard work and accomplishment of the region's female farmers.
A cocktail reception kicks off the event at 5:00 pm. Chef Frances Kroner, Executive Chef at the popular Sleepy Bee Café in Oakley and owner of FEAST catering company, will choreograph and serve a delicious dinner sourced directly from the farmers we celebrate and from other community growers. After dinner, coffee and dessert will be served in the gazebo. Throughout the evening enjoy music by Susan Pepper, with Judy and Warren Waldron of The Pine Ridge Partners.
Women run 14% of U.S. farms. Like Grailville, their farms tend to be part of the farm to fork movement focusing on proximity to food sources, environmental sustainability and food security. Their efforts build local economies and provide broader access to fresh, healthy food.

A beautiful meal will be prepared by local guest chef, Frannie Kroner of FEAST and Sleepy Bee Cafe, that will incorporate locally-sourced ingredients provided by the women farmers we are celebrating as well as from other community growers and local sources, like Green BEAN Delivery. The meal will also feature local wine from Valley Vineyards and dessert from local bakery, Bon Bonerie. There will be plenty of time to converse and network with folks interested in fresh and local foods and with the people who bring them to our tables, including specially invited women farmers, both beginning and seasoned. We will also be able to kick up our heels with some great music from local female musician, Susan Pepper. The evening is designed to encourage the coming together of women farmers with the community they nourish. All are welcome to this celebration of food and the women who grow it!
