In a message he sent to the Epiphany congregation, he said"
It is a great privilege and a highlight in my ministry journey to join the Epiphany UMC family as your next Senior Pastor. You have a dynamic, giving, open and mission minded focus that I value deeply. And I am thrilled to be in ministry with you as together we discover the next chapter God has for us as a family of faith. Please keep me in prayer especially during the next several weeks of transition as I will each of you.
Your friend and partner in mission and ministry,
Pastor Steve
Swisher fills the vacancy of Rev. Dr. Doug Damron who recently accepted the appointment as the Senior Pastor of Epworth United Methodist Church of Toledo after serving at Epiphany for nearly 12 years. Swisher will begin work the first weekend of October.
