Hello my name is Stephanie I have lived here in Loveland for 4 years now with my two girls that are 7 and 12. We love living in this community.
I unfortunately got in a bad accidentally witch made disabled and its horrible. I am 31 and now I cant provide for my family like I want to. But, I'm happy to say I met some girls where I live that told me about the Initiative center. So I went and checked it out and I met the nicest people in there and they told me that, that's not the only thing they do.
They offer a program called Cool School with is cool because the kids can get tutored or get a little help on thir home work - witch my kids liked. And, the book bag program and also the Santa program witch is cool. You can buy your children brand new presents for 5 dollars or less.
It's very nice to know if you lose your job or have to have emergency surgery, or just something pops up and you cant afford to be santa this year, our community has your back!!!
So please give suport them for the development grant program. Terri Rogers is a wonderful lady and does great things for this community. Thank you Terri for all your help. And, thank you Mary, you are a very great women too that does not turn their back on any one...thank you guys...sincerely, Stephanie

Hi my name is Christina.I have lived in Loveland for ten years. When I moved here I learned about the Initiative Center. It has helped me so much. Its helped me and my children very much. It's helped us with cloths and school supplies, and I don't know what I would have done without the Christmas program. It allowed me to be able to provide Christmas for my children when I was unable to. I believe that they should receive the development grant. Good luck to the Initiative enter.

Hi my name is Janet and I've lived in Loveland for my whole life. I loved growing up in this town. I've always known about the Loveland Initiative Center. It's a great program from what I had heard.
Then three years ago, when I had a beautiful baby girl and things weren't going so good and I was talking to some friends abut needing help, they reminded me about the Initiative Center. So I went, and then I meet Mary who helps run it, and Terri who runs it. Them woman were the greatest people I have ever meet in a long time. I can't thank them enough for all the help they gave me. They gave me and my daughter as many outfits as we needed including coats and shoes down to household items.
Then they told me about other programs that they had like the Santa program that lets me buy brand new stuff at a very low cost I can afford. And this year my daughter started preschool and I was able to apply for the backpack program, and she got a backpack and supplies and a gift card to get new shoes. I couldn't ask for anything better, I believe in Terri and Marry and want the team to receive for the community development grant.
Thank you for your time.

I am so proud to be part of The Loveland Initiative because we serve our neighbors. I get to see the people we serve everyday in the community and that is such a great feeling because I see their faces and know who they are.
I know that the community is a better place because of the programs offered by The Loveland Initiative. Loveland is a community that helps each other and there is no other place I would rather live.
Please consider the many local neighbors served by the Loveland Initiative when considering us for the Community Development Grant.

I have lived in Loveland for the majority of my life and am proud to be a member of such a supportive and generous community! The Loveland Initiative is a wonderful organization with some unique and much needed programs that offer so much to the under served children in our community. The potential to implement even more programs could be possible with the funds from the Community Development Grant. I have served on the board for 3 years and have seen first hand the benefits our programs provide! I have handed out backpack to the kids and seen the joy on their faces when they get to choose the one they want and not just have to take the one they are given. I see the relief from parents that shop at our Christmas Toy Store, knowing their children will have gifts to open on Christmas morning. The funds from this grant can help the Loveland Initiative greatly improve and continue to provide the much needed support to our families!

My name is Jessica and I could not make it to the council meeting, but I hope you consider The Loveland Initiative's request.
They have provided so much for so many including me.
I am a single mom of two children. I work and try my best to provide for my children. I cannot always make ends meet and having the Loveland Initiative helps so much. Every year my kids get backpacks, school supplies and other essentials for school. This is a wonderful program because my kids can go to school with confidence.
I also use the Toy Store every year. There is something special that a mom feels knowing that her kids have something under the tree to open on Christmas morning. Not only do I get to shop for my kids,
Ms. Terri also has a program where she has a bus come and pick up the kids and they get to pick out Christmas presents for the special adults in their lives. This is another service that builds my kids happiness knowing that they have special things to give out on Christmas for their daddies and grandparents. Secretly this helps me because I could not afford to go buy those special things for them to give out.
Not only do they provide so many good services, it is the friendliness you get when you walk into these places. Sometimes you just feel so down because you cannot provide for your kids, but it is okay. No one ever looks at you differently and to me that is a big thing.
Ms. Terri and her volunteers always have a smile and a warm greeting followed by a little bit of conversation with you. When you leave you feel so uplifted.
Thank you for considering this and thank you to the Loveland Initiative for all they do!

The Loveland Initiative does some great work for under-served students and their families in this community. I have lived in Loveland, Ohio for nineteen years, and am proud to live in a community that takes care of its people. Please help this organization continue its great work by supporting it as a candidate for the Community Block Grant.

The Loveland Initiative is an amazing program that benefits low income and poor families in the Loveland area. Without this program, my own family would never have been able to give the kids a good Christmas. As a grandparent, who is used to being able to provide fully for my family, it was quite a relief to be able to buy gifts for the kids last year without spending our utilities money!
The Initiative also provides the backpack program, which for us, was so helpful. School supply costs can be astronomical nowadays. Before we learned about the Initiative program, we had to scrimp and save to try to obtain required supplies.
The Initiative deserves this grant so that it can continue providing this much needed service to the families of Loveland who desperately need them very much.
Please consider approving their request.

Heather WilsonThe Loveland Initiative's programs have been such a blessing for my family. I am so thankful for the programs the Initiative provides for families who need help especially the Christmas Toy Store.I have not only used their programs, but I have helped with the programs as well. I was amazed how the Loveland Community comes together to support the Initiative's programs. The Christmas Toy Store helps so many families to provide their children with a good Christmas. I know that without it I wouldn't be able to give my kids a good Christmas. Please support the Loveland Initiative so they can provide families like my own with the help they need. One of the reason's I love living in Loveland so much is because I have seen how the community comes together to help support these programs so that low-income families can get the help they need.

Nicole ThompsonThe Loveland Initiate has helped my family in many ways, not just with one service they provided. Please support the Loveland Initiate so they can continue to help the families in the Loveland Community who need it.The Christmas program guarantees that every child will have some type of present/presents on Christmas. The back to school backpack program assists parents with the essentials that children need to assure that their children start the school year with the supplies that they need. The Loveland Initiate is an important part of the Loveland Community and we as a community need to pull together to support ALL of our surrounding neighbors no matter what. After all, that is what makes Loveland a great place to live. Please show your support for the Loveland Initiate!!
