Teachers Dana Dale and John Phenix stand with their class and the tree they decorated for the Loveland Arts Council's silent auction benefitting Milford-Miami Ministries. Bids will be accepted on this and many other holiday trees from December 5 through December 20 at Studios on Main located at 529 Main Avenue in Loveland.
Children's Meeting House Montessori School (CMH) has joined forces with Whistle Stop ClayWorks (WSCW) to support the Loveland Arts Council's silent auction to benefit Milford-Miami Ministries. CMH Montessori School and WSCW worked together to craft unique, hand made ornaments to adorn two trees that will be available through silent auction from December 5 through December 20. WSCW provided hand made, white clay ornaments and the school children used paints and their imagination to uniquely personalize and decorate each one.
"It has been a joy to work with school children to create these hand crafted ornaments. It really gives a warm feeling to give back this holiday season. After all, that's really the true spirit of the holidays - it's better to give than receive," says Kay Bolin, co-owner of WSCW.
The two trees, along with many others decorated by local artists and businesses, are available for sale via silent auction starting at the Opening Reception on December 5th through December 20th at Studios on Main located at 529 Main Avenue in Loveland.
