Loveland, Ohio - “It meant the world to me. It was a big shock that it was going to me. I was just astounded that I had the honor of getting this award,” said David Guzior talking about the announcement that he would receive the first award made by the Maegly Music Scholarship committee. David, a sophomore at Loveland High School (LHS), was awarded the scholarship on December 4 at the Band/Jazz Concert. He is a member of the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra, and Encore, the Loveland Show Choir Band.

The Loveland Music Boosters established the Maegly Music Scholarship Award to honor Mr. Bruce Maegly and: “Recognize his thirty-five year contribution to developing the musical talents and enthusiasm of generations of Loveland students.”

The intent of the scholarship is to foster musical development of current students in grades 9-12. “Just like Mr. Maegly did while teaching, we will be awarding funds to offset skill building expenses,” said Booster president, Traci Scarpa.

Matt Truesdell a junior at LHS, was presented the scholarship on January 10 at the Show Choir Preview. He is a member of the Loveland Show Choir “By Request” and is also taking an in-school guitar class to broaden his musical skills.

Matt was also one of Maegly's student in the Middle School Stage Band and he said he pushed him to do all types of music which led him to become part of the show choir and playing guitar. Matt said, “He laid the basis for my education in the musical field.” Matt will use the award money for a show choir camp this summer.

David, who received the first award, money to buy a new baritone saxophone mouth piece, agreed it was a “big deal” to receive his award. It’s used to advance your musical adventure, which could be continuing music lessons, educational trips

David was also in Maegly’s Middle School Stage Band. He said of Maegly, “He has meant the world to me and was actually the one that kept me into music.” Maegly gave David a chance by asking him if I waned to play the ‘bari sax’. “I said, ‘Of course’ and I absolutely fell in love right away. He just made me keep loving the music ever since, and kept pushing me and making me do greater things, so he means a lot to me.”

Matt said it was almost bittersweet to know that Mr. Maegly is no longer teaching because he wants more and more students that have a love for music or don’t even know they have a love for music to have that same type of connection that he had with Mr. Maegly. “Well, I was greatly honored when the Boosters surprised me with this last spring and I’m really excited about the good it’s going to do for a lot of students and their musical endeavors,” Matt said.

Maegly said that now that he has retired he has opened “A little business on the side where I repair and service - primarily brass musical instruments.” He is also restoring a lot of old tools in a new shop in his garage and just enjoying life. “I am reading a lot of books and enjoying Facebook, connecting with a lot of people from my past that I haven’t spoken to in years. It’s great. I am hearing from former students that now live in California that I haven’t been in contact with in a long, long time,” Maegly said.

The Stage Band started the first year Maegly taught in Loveland when he was approached by then, principal, Jack Wood about playing for a basketball tournament they were hosting at the old middle school. “So, I put up a sign on the bulletin board inviting people to come in,” Maegly said. They started by learning three pieces of music for the tournament and played three pieces over and over all day long. “The night of our performance someone came up and said, ‘Hey. What’s this group called.” Maegly’s answer was, “Uh… I don’t know…. Uh… The Stage Band.” He explained it was because that is where they were playing, “On a stage. And, that’s how it started thirty-five years ago and it’s still going on.” About twelve years later, former Loveland High School principal, Tom Hausterman invited Maegly to start what would become the Jazz Band. Two years later there were two jazz bands at the high school.

In 2012, Maegly was honored by the Hamilton County Education Foundation as a Teacher of the Year. At the time of the award, Loveland Middle School Principal, Chris Burke said, "Very few teachers have the ability to impact as many lives as Bruce Maegly does on a regular basis. Bruce leads hundreds of students on a daily basis to grow and achieve success. Teaching multiple periods of large group bands, in two different buildings, Mr. Maegly has the ability to reach more students on a daily basis than just about anyone in our district. When you add the fact that he expertly and skillfully engages these groups every day it not only makes him deserving of this reward, but invaluable to Loveland.

Scarpa said her own children had Maegly for a teacher and she said he instilled a love of music in her kids that continues throughout their lives.”

“This endowed scholarship begins, and the legacy of Mr. Bruce Maegly continues, with these first two winners. The Boosters wish David and Matt every success as they continue to develop their musical skills and look forward to seeing the results of their hard work in the coming years. Congratulations, David and Matt,” said Scarpa.

Loveland grad Brian Wozniak grabs Oregon State position

 

Oregon State head football coach Gary Andersen announced Wednesday the addition of on the field graduate assistants for the 2015 season. Working on the offensive side of the ball will be Keegan Andersen and Brian Wozniak, while Cory Hall and former Beaver football student-athlete Andrew Seumalo will be on defense.

Wozniak was a four-year letterman tight end at Wisconsin, finishing his eligibility with the 2013 season. He played in 47 career games, starting 21. He signed a free agent contract with the Atlanta Falcons prior to the 2014 season. The Loveland, Ohio native graduated from UW with a bachelor's degree in agricultural and life sciences.

Zakary Kadish's dream for debate team come to fruition

Loveland, Oh. - His name is Zakary Kadish – and if his future goes as planned you will possibly one day see that name stamped on signs across lawns as he pursues a career in politics.

For now the Loveland High School (LHS) senior is content to use a new platform – he helped establish – to speak from – the LHS Debate Team.

“I remember Zak coming to me his freshman year and asking about forming a debate team,” said LHS Principal Chris Kloesz. “I thought we should start to see if there was enough interest to start a club first – and he got to work.”

By Kadish’s junior year, the LHS Debate Club was established and going strong. This year, Kadish saw his efforts to form a registered team come to fruition.

“I have a passion for debate, discussion and politics,” said Kadish.

It was passion that fueled the effort to establish the formal team, now under the supervision of LHS English Teacher and Debate Team Sponsor Rebekah Hacker, “The actual tournament is pretty exciting. There are several events they can participate in along with traditional debate. There’s a student congress, there’s independent speaking, impromptu speaking, humorous speaking, even poetry interpretation.”

“Loveland now has a chance to be involved in this sort of activity when once it wasn’t an option here,” said Kadish.

“This has to continue,” said Kloesz. “Because the motivation is there and the interest is there, it’s going to be great to see it continue.”

 

Loveland City Schools increase security district-wide

 

Funds to make improvements at all buildings result of Ohio School Facilities Commission School Security Grant Program

 

Loveland, Oh. - The Loveland City School District announced today it has received a $5,000-per-building state grant for the primary purpose of providing front entry door security. District administrators worked with each building to tailor individual plans to make optimum security upgrades.

 “The district strives to be as open and welcoming as possible,” said John Ames, business manager. “All secretaries and receptionists plan to operate their entryways as they have in the past with the door being open during the school day. However, the new security measures give those professionals the ability to secure the doors on a moment’s notice should the need arise.”

A camera will be installed outside with a wide-angle view of the exterior sidewalk. Both the receptionist and the attendance clerk will have a monitor installed to permit them to see, at a glance, who is arriving. The attendance clerk and receptionist will have the ability to lock-down the building with the push of a button.

A camera will be installed outside each entry door with a wide-angle view of the exterior sidewalk. Both receptionists and the secretary will have monitors installed to permit them to see, at a glance, who is arriving. The receptionists and secretary will have the ability to lock-down the building with the push of a button. In addition, a door chime will be installed to alert the secretaries and receptionists that a door has been pulled open should they not be looking at the door at that moment. The plan will also have a two-way call button with a built-in camera located outside both main doors. This will permit the door to be locked, if need be, yet give the secretary or receptionists the ability to “buzz” the person in. This will be helpful for before or after school hours and during the summer when access is limited.

Junior Megan Tenhundfeld (Loveland, Ohio) maintained a 77.27 stroke average at Seton Hall through four tournaments this fall. Her best performance was a third place tie at the St. John's Invitational, a tournament the Pirates won as a team. Tenhundfeld shot a 9-over-par, 77-74-151. She also had an impressive 15th place tie at the highly competitive Yale Intercollegiate with a 13-over-par, 78-74-74-226.

Hamilton County Dog license renewal deadline is January 31

According to a release issued by Hamilton County, "Due to the relatively mild December and January this winter, Hamilton County will not extend the January 31 deadline for dog registration and licensing in 2015." 

This year, dog owners must renew their licenses by January 31^st to avoid penalties.

Loveland, Ohio - On Tuesday, Jan. 27^th when the Loveland Men basketball Tigers take on Turpin here at the Tiger Court for basketball, the world renown Firecrackers jump team will perform at halftime of the Varsity game that starts at 7:30 PM.

 

They were the underdogs- a group of unruly, girls from a small community in desperate need of change. She was a coach without a team, transferred to a struggling school on a mission to make a difference.

Loveland Youth Football takes up skating for open house Info session

I am the cheer director for Loveland Youth Football (LYF). On February 7, from 10 AM until 11:30 AM, we will be having the kick off for football and cheer sign ups at Castle Skateland.

The cost is free to get in, but to rent skates will be $2.

LYF coaches will be available to answer any questions you may have and you can pick up the latest in Loveland Youth Spirit Wear and meet the Loveland High school football players

The LYF program has teams ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade. Our organization is made up of over 250 children and has more than 60 coaches between football and cheerleading. The home field for Loveland Youth Football is located behind Loveland High School, at 1 Tiger Trail, and is one of the finest grass football fields in the greater Cincinnati area.

LYF participates in the Community Youth Football League (CYFL) which is made up of 9 local communities representing over 65 youth football teams.

LYF is a proud member of USA Football. All of our football coaches have completed the Level 1 coaches certification for tackle football.  With this certification our coaches recieve training in how to coach the heads up method of tackling to improve player safety.

Thursday evening self-inflicted gunshot wound on West Loveland Ave. was fatal

 

 

Loveland, Ohio - Thursday evening at 5:38 PM, police had already dispatched to a man's apartment to "check on well being" after ex-wife called to report a voice-mail message saying goodby to family, giving bank account information, and saying he was going to check out.

Police heard a gun shot outside. A female motorist from Goshen traveling east-bound on West Loveland Avenue spotted a 60 year-old, male Loveland resident, slumped to the ground at the park bench near the roadway at Anniversary Park. Presuming he was passed out or sick, called the police, who discovered a fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Property recovered was one (1) Dan Wesson Arms 357 Magnum revolver, five (5) Midway .375 bullets, one (1) Midway .375 casing, and one (1) audio recording with "Message saying goodbye to family".

Area police team up for a Junior Police Academy

Applicants will be accepted by the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office and participants will be selected based on a questionnaire. The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Miami Township Police Department, Milford Police Department, Loveland Police Department and other partners are teaming up to present a Junior Police Academy. This program will provide a unique experience for law enforcement, professionals to come together with young people and share basic law enforcement knowledge, techniques and experiences. The JPA cadets will not only learn about law enforcement, but much emphasis is placed on teamwork, respect, positive behavior, pride in one’s work and the resistance to drugs and alcohol abuse. It is our hope that each cadet will leave the program with a better understanding of citizenship and how rewarding community involvement can be.

“Mallet Madness" is an advanced percussion group of select fourth grade students at Loveland Elementary School. The group heads to school in the early morning hours to practice and audition to be part of the ensemble.

The co-directors, are teachers, Michele Henn and Kristen Planeaux. The group plays complicated pieces for xylophone, drum, accessory percussion, and recorder.

They performed at last week's State of the Schools address by superintendent, Chad Hilliker.

 

 

 

Regional Aerospace and Manufacturing Job Fair Jan. 29

 

Connecting aerospace and manufacturing employers with skilled and entry-level needs to a quality workforce

 

The Workforce Investment Board | Butler • Clermont • Warren, Southwest Ohio Region Workforce Investment Board, Sen. Sherrod Brown, TechSolve and OhioMeansJobs Centers in Southwest Ohio, are partnering to host an Aerospace and Manufacturing Job Fair serving employers and job seekers from the Cincinnati to Dayton area. The event will be held 10 AM until 2 PM, Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Sharonville Convention Center.  

57 employers are currently registered, including GE, Ford Motor Co., GKN Aerospace Cincinnati and AK Steel. Openings include CNC machinists, maintenance technicians and mechanical engineers with pay ranges from $11 per hour to $95,000 annually.

“This summit brings together public-private partnerships to help connect manufacturers hiring workers, with workers who are seeking manufacturing jobs or training. Working together, we help ensure long-term success throughout the region,” Sen. Brown said.

 “We hope to have  40 to 50 employers with operations in the Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, Montgomery and Warren County areas at the job fair,” said Adam Jones, WIBBCW Administrator.  

Recently, Southwest Ohio received one of 12 national designations from the U.S. Department of Commerce. This designation recognizes the region’s strength in aerospace manufacturing, and gives preferential status to projects on a number of federal opportunities and resources. This summit will build on the progress the region has made.

Guiding the Bulldogs there was a strong combination of youth and experience, headlined by senior outside hitter Elena Lohr (Loveland, Ohio) and rookie sensation Natascha Scarff (Geneva, Switzerland).

Lohr – a senior captain and floor general for the Black and Gold – led the team with 334 kills, also serving up a side-best 29 aces while surpassing the 300-dig mark to finish second on the team with 2.66 per set. Lohr added 24 blocks with a .954 reception percentage while playing all the way around throughout the season. She led the Black and Gold with 15 double-doubles on the year.

TAP MD designed to help exceptionally talented high school students ‘tap’ into their potential to fulfill careers in medicine

 

Loveland, Oh. - Three Loveland High School (LHS) students have been accepted into the 2015 TAP MD program. LHS juniors Benjamin Lipp, Karl Mueller and Shiza Syed will join the program designed to help exceptionally talented high school students “tap” into their potential to fulfill careers in medicine.

Currently in its fifth year, over 100 students have graduated from the annual program, each attending monthly observation events with physicians in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.

To enter this career exploring program, students must be strong academically (29 ACT and/or 1300 SAT), motivated, mature, dependable and have a positive attitude.

The program has an ultimate goal that over 50 percent of participating students will pursue a career in medicine at the completion of the program.

Pantherfest set for Feb. 7

 

Pantherfest, the annual extravaganza sponsored by the Little Miami Athletic Boosters, is scheduled for Feb. 7. The event runs from noon to 5 PM at Little Miami High School.

Pantherfest will again feature food, craft booths, and lots of local performers. A special performance by Ballet Tech of Ohio is sure to be a highlight, along with demonstrations by TNT Nitro, Premier Tumbling, Hill's Martial Arts, and ShowBiz Dance.

Little Miami Business Advisory Council releases survey results of principals, teachers, and parents

 

Morrow, Oh. - Nearly seven in 10 Little Miami parents gave a positive rating to the district’s education, and all three major stakeholders – administrators, teachers and parents – picked the same answer for the district’s greatest strength: teachers who care. Those are the key findings of a survey conducted by the district’s Business Advisory Council, a committee established by the Board of Education that consists of local community members, Board members and other key stakeholders. Sharonville, Oh. - My Furry Valentine, a non-profit organization focused on bringing together adoptable animals and people to adopt them, will be hosting its annual animal adoption event at the Sharonville Convention Center, 11355 Chester Road, on Saturday, February 14^th and Sunday, February 15^th, 2015, from 10 AM until 5 PM.

This mega-adoption event has found homes for more than 1,300 animals since its founding in 2012. Bringing together animal rescues and shelters from around the Tri-State over Valentine’s Day Weekend, My Furry Valentine offers the opportunity for potential pet owners to find the right pet to add to their family. 

The two-day adoption event was created with a goal to raise awareness of the hundreds of adoptable animals throughout the community and to help them find loving homes. There are approximately four million animals euthanized in the United States every year, and tens of thousands in our area alone. “My Furry Valentine’s mission is to significantly decrease the euthanasia of healthy animals in the Tri-State by helping to create the mindset that adoption is the first option when looking for a new pet,” says My Furry Valentine founder Carolyn Evans. This year Ms. Evans is expecting 6,000 visitors and hopes to find homes for more than 550 animals, which include cats, dogs, and other small animals.

In addition to the shelters & rescue groups on site, the event features family-friendly activities, arts & crafts, face painting, a rescued farm animal petting zoo and an array of pet vendors. Parking and admission are free. Pet adoption fees and applications vary. All pet adopters will walk the red carpet for a professional photo with their new pet, and receive a goody bag with free pet supplies, toys, treats, coupons, a Tri-County Mall gift card and a bag of IAMS pet food. Mental Health Night At Epiphany: "Captivating and heart wrenching"

With over 100 adults and teens in attendance, A.S.A.P. (Andrew's Suicide Awareness and Prevention) hosted a Mental Illness seminar at Epiphany United Methodist Church on January 18, 2015. Keynote speaker Dr. Paul Keck, President and CEO of the Lindner Center of Hope, gave a compelling presentation highlighting and explaining mental illness in detail. He gave facts and figures about the prevalence of mental illness in America as well as the upcoming promising treatments that may become available. He also discussed the lack of available treatment to those in need, whether it is due to cost or the influx of patients and the lack of adequate staff and space to deal with the needs of the community.

Following his presentation, three volunteers shared their captivating and heart wrenching experiences with mental illness on a panel and the floor was opened for a time of questions and answers.

A.S.A.P. is an outreach ministry of Epiphany Methodist Church in Loveland, Ohio. This ministry was started at the request of Joe and Heather Lynch after they lost their son Andrew to suicide.

A.S.A.P.'s mission is to assist in facilitating suicide prevention training, promote activities focused on removing the stigma of suicide in an effort to open up conversation leading to understanding and education, promote events focused on "at risk" populations including youth through college age, and to provide an open invitation to individuals and families looking for a church family who find themselves, or their loved ones, struggling with mental health issues.

Lastly, locally, we are very lucky to have the Lindner Center of Hope in Mason, Ohio. This is a facility that offers Outpatient, Inpatient, Residential, Diagnostic Testing as well as several other treatments for many different mental illnesses. Overall, it was a fantastic evening that helped many people and received and overwhelming response. The need for mental illness awareness was made evident. For those that missed it, we hope to have more events in the near future.

An evening for teenagers and adults

 

After two young people died by suicide, members of Epiphany United Methodist Church formed the Andrew’s Suicide And Prevention (A.S.A.P.) organization, to educate themselves, and the Loveland community. They have decided to follow-up their very successful and well attended, Mental Health Awareness event with a second. It will be next Sunday, January 18 beginning at 6 PM.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Paul Keck, President and CEO of the Linder Center of Hope, a nonprofit, mental health center located in Mason. His talk will be followed by a panel of local individuals who have been impacted by mental illness who will share their journey and answer questions.

Keck, a researcher in Bipolar Disorder and psychopharmacology, is the author of over 525 scientific papers in leading medical journals and was the 7th most cited scientist in the world published in the fields of psychiatry and psychology over the past decade. He has also contributed over 170 reviews and chapters to major psychiatric textbooks.

Keck is the editor or author of 6 scientific books and serves on the editorial boards of 7 journals. He also served on the American Psychiatric Association’s Workgroup to Develop Practice Guidelines for Treatment of Patients with Bipolar Disorders and on the APA Institute for Research and Education.

Unique to this information night, according to Rev. Lisa Kerwin, is that a parent of an adult with a mental illness will be on the panel and discuss their experience and will be available to answer questions from the public. Kerwin has an adult son who has been treated for mental illness.

Kerwin is the Pastor of Care Ministries and Congregational Life at Epiphany, and is helping to organize the event. She said, “Teens and adults can expect to go home with a little bit of better understanding.” She believes that even one night’s worth of understanding will be helpful, especially to parents of youth or young adults. She said, “That is often when mental illness first shows itself.”

“Attendees will have a better understanding of what mental illness is… what to look for… and what is different about mental illness than just typical bad behavior in teenagers, said Kerwin. “There is a difference, and parents  and other teenagers should know what to look out for and of course, how to get help - and where to get help.”

Following the keynote by Dr. Keck, a panel of four who have personal experience with suicide and mental health issues will share their own stories. Then the audience will have a chance to ask their questions of the panel and Dr. Keck.

Joe Lynch, parent of Andrew, who A.S.A.P is named for, will be the moderator. Lynch said, “As at he last time we did one of these events, we will have people there who can answer questions and you can even talk to individuals, one-on-one. It was a very beneficial to have a panel of individuals who have been impacted by mental illness, to share their journey and answer questions.”

BATAVIA, Ohio – Edwin H. Humphrey was elected president of the Clermont County Board of Commissioners at the commissioners’ Jan. 12 reorganizational meeting. Commissioner Bob Proud was elected vice president.

The president of the board presides at meetings during the year. Humphrey was also selected as the commissioners’ lead representative on the Clermont County Board of Revision, Records Commission, and Automatic Data Processing Board.

Sherrod Brown announces $600,000 in new federal funds to improve water quality in Clermont County

 

Clermont County Received Funding Through USDA Program Brown Helped Establish in the 2014 Farm Bill to Help Address Runoff, Reduce Phosphorous, Improve Conservation Efforts

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced $600,000 in new federal funds to improve water quality in Clermont County. The funding is part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) – which Brown helped establish in the 2014 Farm Bill.

“EQIP draws on farmers and producers’ local knowledge and networks in order to preserve water quality,” Brown said. “This funding will help farmers throughout Clermont County improve conservation efforts to stop runoff before it starts.”

The Clermont Soil and Water Conservation District will receive funding to help farmers implement conservation practices that reduce the flow of phosphorus, which contributes to harmful algal blooms that comprise water quality. The funds will help farmers enroll in the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), which provides resources for producers to implement conservation practices to protect water quality.

Brown, the first Ohioan on the Senate Agriculture Committee in more than 40 years, has worked to secure federal funding to reduce phosphorus runoff and has introduced a series of proposals to improve water quality. Brown has worked to secure more than $3 million for EQIP funding in Ohio. In September, Brown reintroduced the Clean Water Affordability Act, which would direct additional funding to communities in Ohio to eliminate combined sewer overflows, which are a contributing factor in harmful algal blooms. Brown first introduced this legislation with former Senator George V. Voinovich in 2008 and worked with local officials across Ohio to fine-tune the bill.

Defunding President Obama's Executive Actions

 

 

“Simply put: securing the border and stopping executive amnesty is a national security priority. We must stop the President’s damaging actions right now, before they take further root and magnify the growing constitutional crisis that we are facing.”

The House passed vital funding legislation for the Department of Homeland Security today, including a number of important provisions that block President Obama's continued unconstitutional actions.

This legislation is specifically targeted to defund the president’s unconstitutional, executive actions on immigration in their entirety by eliminating all funds -- anywhere in the budget -- for implementation of the President's unauthorized actions. This includes executive orders, memos, prosecutorial discretion, and future actions the President may take while ignoring Congress. Additionally, it ensures no federal benefits to those covered by the President's executive amnesty and makes clear that the use of funds is legal immigration and border enforcement.

 This is the action our nation needs: it’s what the American people want.

 

Loveland Primary Students students mix chemicals, make slime – all in the name of science!

Loveland, Oh. - It was two days of chemical mixing, experimentation and slime creation for Loveland Primary School (LPS) students. COSI (Center of Science and Industry) – a hands-on science center located in Columbus, Ohio – brought its learning outreach program to LPS.

“We are always excited when the COSI tour bus rolls into Loveland,” said Kevin Fancher, LPS principal. “The lesson always expands on what we are learning in our traditional classrooms, and gives our students a chance to get hands-on with science.”

The theme for this COSI science adventure was Simply Chemistry. The COSI tour made a stop at LPS thanks to funding from the PTA.

“This is such a worthwhile investment for our students,” said Fancher. “We sincerely appreciate the efforts of the PTA to make this type of learning available to our students.”

Rachel Silvey’s three language arts classes worked for two weeks to collect the donated books for the drive. The collected books were used at the Northstar Care Center allowing local families to choose books to gift for the recent holiday season.

An LMS student, named Kate Garry, generously donated over 50 books. A crowd of parents gathered in the classroom turned café to record their young Tigers presenting during the Best Part of Me performance.

The lights were dim, the cookies in abundance and the parents sitting anxious with devices to record the students who were positioned up front to make an easy pathway to the center stage where a single microphone spoke volumes – this classroom was hosting an event.

The performance inside Loveland Primary School (LPS) Second-Grade Teacher Megan Little’s classroom was a show to remember. Bright eyes, small hands and big smiles rolled across the video screen – as each student shared the “Best Part of Me.”

“This event was the culmination of a lesson on writing personal narratives, but the growth went beyond the written word,” said Little. “It encouraged our students to focus on what they feel makes them special, and helps to build a foundation establishing a positive self-image.”

The Best Part of Me performance is an annual event for all second-grade students who have class with Little and Patsy Schlesselman. Please enjoy the video photo gallery captured during Little’s class.
